Managing customer payments just got easier. With saved payment methods, you can securely save your customers' payment methods and automatically charge them when needed.
Here's how it works:
- Request authorization through Nickel: You have the option to complete a payment authorization document directly in our platform
- Upload existing authorizations: Already have payment details on file? Simply upload the authorization document
- Automatic charging: Once saved, you can automatically charge these payment methods for any invoice, even in bulk. If you have multiple invoices for the same customer, charge them all automatically with a single click
Save time, reduce manual work, and ensure you get paid on time—every time. Head to your Customers table to get started with requesting or adding payment methods.

🔁 Recurring Invoices & Scheduled Payments: Set It and Forget It

Billing doesn't have to be repetitive work. With Recurring Invoices, you can automate your entire billing process—just like a subscription service.
Your customers enter their payment details once, and payments are automatically processed on the schedule you set. Whether it's weekly, monthly, or quarterly, Nickel handles it for you.

- Seamless QuickBooks integration: Just change the invoice type to "recurring" when creating a new invoice in Nickel, and it syncs automatically

🔐 3D Secure: Best-in-Class Payment Protection
Security is at the heart of everything we do at Nickel. That's why we're excited to introduce 3D Secure (3DS), an additional layer of protection for your online transactions.
When you're moving large amounts of money, 3D Secure protocol adds an extra verification step to ensure every payment is legitimate. Your customers or vendors verify their identity by entering a unique password, SMS code, or temporary PIN before completing the transaction.
With Nickel, you never share bank details directly with customers or vendors, eliminating fraud risk and compliance burdens. Your financial information stays secure, and you gain peace of mind knowing every transaction is protected.
